Family ~

We traveled a quick three hours to Lewiston Idaho, checked in to our hotel and awaited our family.

Canola, who knew?

Marcus, the son of Bob's brother Larry who is no longer
with us, came with his sweet family to meet us.

Marcus is a very special person to us. When we speak of him to others, it is
always about what an ineradicable man, husband and Father he is.
He's married to an equally special women, Ralyn, Momma to their five children.

Kadyn 12, Mia 10, Izzy 7, Macord 2, and Renton 10 months.

Such special children, to two awesome parents.
Saying good bye in the morning will be tough, hoping they come see us soon!

The Road to Idaho ~

We started our day with the best breakfast yet on our trip,
Three Fingered Jack's.
Curious about the name, curiosity satisfied.

We saw some beautiful county along the way, and some funny stuff.....

Feeling good about our local mall back home ......

 More beautiful sights...

Random :-)

We saw mile after mile of wheat, really looks kinda pretty!

Eventually we arrived in beautiful Idaho!

My view from our balcony :-) We had great massages in Winthrop, perhaps....

Also from our balcony, I love when water is in sight.
It really is so beautiful in Coeur d'Alene

I was so looking forward to seeing my friend since 7th grade, Kathy Howard Robison.
We met at her and her husband Steve's beautiful home in Post Falls.

Went out for a great garlic filled dinner, and back to their home for dessert,
music and remisnecing of days gone by.
Lots of hugs before saying good bye, promising to meet
up again soon, Great time!!

~

Tomorrow we Bob will load up the car and we will head to Lewiston Idaho.
There we will meet up with our nephew Marcus, his wife and their five beautiful children.
He is a very special young man to us, and we are super excited to have some time
with he and his beautiful family!

Reunions with those we love, echo from my heart today.

Old Friend ~

Love driving onto Whidbey Island, it's a beautiful place!
Here we had the opportunity to catch up with our old friend
David Wayne.  He treated us to such a great time, it was as
if no time had passed.

Hard to leave after just 24 hrs, he is the biggest hearted man I know.

We left the following morning after sharing breakfast with him, gave him an extra big hug
as we parted ways.
Off to the Cascade Hwy. en route to Winthrope Wa.
Beautiful drive ~

I love Cascadian Farms products and was very excited to stop.
Homemade Strawberry ice cream !

Some trips are in search of the perfect Margarita, some, ice cream....

We were encourage to see this gentlemen biking the Hwy., we are considering trying it next time.
Ha! Not!
Off our balcony at our cabin......

Winthrop, never disappoints....
Tomorrow we head to Idaho, get to reconnect with my high school buddy!!

It's what echos from my heart today....
