Love the paintings you can find in the outdoors!
I love a beautiful Sunset,
so calming.
However I prefer the sunrise,
it speaks new,
start again,
fresh.
The old must pass before the new can come.
If we desire something new to begin in us, we have to be willing to
let go of the old.
The Bible refers to this;
Matthew 9:17
" Neither
do people pour new wine into old wineskins. If they do, the skins will
burst; the wine will run out and the wineskins will be ruined. No, they
pour new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved.”
~
In allowing the old to go and the new to come, we are humbled,
we acknowledge what
isn't working for us as we allow the new to begin.
The sunrise has spoken..........
The often breaking of ones will, it's what echos from my heart today.
Sunrises and sunsets both are wonderful for the soul. :)
ReplyDeleteI don't think anyone tires of sunrises or sunsets... so much beauty... & meaning in them...
ReplyDeleteIt's such a blessing to wake with the sunrise, and thank God for a new day!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful post, my sweet friend.
xoxo
lovely thoughts here...The sun setting on the ocean is hard to beat for me, but the dawn of a new day, with new possibilities, new grace and new mercies is truly a gift from above!
ReplyDeleteMy husband had just quoted the wineskins verse yesterday...
ReplyDeleteI am not an early riser and I've never lived where I could see the sunrise, but I
understand your analogy.
This reminds me of the song, "Morning has broken, like the first morning..." HOWEVER it is rarely before 8:00 when I get up, but I still sing that song, LOL
