The Latest ~

Life continues to get in the way of my blogging time.....
it's always in the back of my mind that I should catch up on what
is going on in the lives of my blogging buddies.
Hubby still recovering from his second shoulder surgery, all appears to
be healing well....can I get a hallelujah?
Thanks for all of you that prayed about this!

One of my bestest friends taught a craft class at my church,
I put on my big girl panties and jump in with confidence and excitement.
We made personal journals, and it was such a fun experience..
Below is my finished product :-)

And so the month of July arrived.....
below are some of our July 4th photos

 Fun friends!!

My beautiful full of life Khloe and I .

Khloe's Fireworks attire.....

We took a road trip to attend my great neice Ruby's 5th birthday party and
to meet her new little sister Minnie.
Are they not adorable little girls :-)

Khloe and cousin Ruby

I always love to have sunflowers in the house come July....they ooze happiness!

We gave potty training a go for a couple weeks.
Khloe wasn't quite ready but she felt her baby was......

Below is a serious conversation between Pa and Khloe regarding
sitting on chairs rather than standing
the battle continues today :-)

We celebrated the hubister's 65 birthday with a family dinner

My son Brian and his girlfriend Brittany....

My daughter in law Katie (carrying baby girl # 2) and my oldest son Mike.

The hubstir and I celebrated our 13 wedding anniversary on the 17th.
His birthday was the 18.
Khloe's 2nd birthday is the 21st
Our youngest grandson Calib celebrates a birthday this month, as does our son in law,
my brother and myself.
July continues to rush by, just our busiest month of the year!

We are preparing to leave for Montana on August first to attend my family reunion.
I am beyond excited to be with my Mom's side of the family...
Mom's presence will be missed,
though I intend to carry her in my heart and know she is with me, still.
When we return, we will be home for three days and leave again for three days
in our local mountains of Idylwild where we have rented a 3,000 sq.ft. home.
Two of our sons, our daughter and their families will be joining us, I can't wait!!

Our newest grand daughter will be arriving in late August,
things are about to get a little bit busier!
~
Leaving you feeling so blessed in life,
and so excited about my future.
it's what echos from my heart today.....

  1. So glad hubby is doing better.

You have such a beautiful family, Debi.

Happy birthday to ALL, and Happy Anniversary. Sounds like a great July. Have a wonderful time at your family reunion; yes, your mom will be missed but remembered and in the hearts of all who love her still and always will.

It'a always great to see you here. :)

  2. Oh, how well I know what your Hubby has been through with shoulder surgery. It's tough, but in the end, mine was sure worth it!

What precious little girls! And, Kloe will eventually get the potty figured out but they have to do it in their own time for sure.

Oh, I do agree, Sunflowers ooze happiness!

So glad you checked in with us, I have missed you. Happy week!
