God has been speaking to me on the verse of "Being still and knowing that He is God". There is power and strength in quietly resting in Him. My business eliminates that blessing from my daily walk. I want to read the book you recommended. Hope you have a good weekend, my friend!Just a little something from Judyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07436711032386582707noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3808143582355044973.post-25779002036255539602013-01-25T09:27:00.634-08:002013-01-25T09:27:00.634-08:00I love when you post, Debi; your words always make...I love when you post, Debi; your words always make so much sense. Glad that you're having more time to do what's really important to you. I never got into the "parties", jewelry, etc. A lot of the time I spent working two jobs. And, yes I did try selling Tupperware. I sucked at it bad, I thought at first! Too shy; I'd lay all the containers on the table, give out brochures and hope someone would buy something. Actually, I had one friend who told me that the reason I sold as much as I did was because no one wanted to hear that "speech" anyway. They'd rather talk. LOL That 2nd job didn't last too long though; it took so much time picking up and delivering using up "time" I could have spent on those nights I could have spent with my daughter.

You make many valid points. I certainly have more since I retired, but really need to get a hobby other than reading so much. Can't wait for Spring to see what I can do around this new place.

Have a great weekend!
xoxo
Sallyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02865722713732049339noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3808143582355044973.post-88680400126614228352013-01-24T19:50:33.146-08:002013-01-24T19:50:33.146-08:00What a timely post!
