There could be no greater gift, outside of God, than parents who teach their children to love and to give. What a blessing! I have always thought that Foster Parents are such special, special folks! I can't even imagine. I truly admire girls who decide that their baby deserves more than they can give them especially, and hoping their child grows up with so much love. I wasn't that generous; just say I was selfish. My mom was the one who wanted me to opt for adoption, I couldn't do it. Of course, I've never been sorry and I believe my daughter appreciates what I tried to do for her, and certainly my mom became her best advocate. Funny how things like that happen. And, my dad? He worshipped every hair on her head. The day we came home from the hospital, he sat and held her the entire night.

Sorry to get off subject, in a way. But, absolutely your parents heart beated as one, and still does. And, as Deanna said "what a legacy". :)

xoxoSallyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02865722713732049339noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3808143582355044973.post-55688206935533519512013-02-02T10:19:04.996-08:002013-02-02T10:19:04.996-08:00What a beautiful family, and what a joy to celebra...What a beautiful family, and what a joy to celebrate their lives... we too had a big house, big family and always an open door to friends and family. We, as a family gave them a living start. What a heritage! <3Ommie Deannahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11155706574459983197noreply@blogger.com
